Lordy Miss Claudie its Gaudy
1997 (36" x 36") (92cms x 92cms) This quilt is the first of a series I am doing using the Wheel of Mystery templates. I made this quilt from African print fabrics when I heard I had been invited to tutor at the Dais Symposium in Port Elizabeth in South Africa in 1998.The background is colourwashed with one batik fabric. I entered this in the Ugly but Divine Competition hence the title.
