Sunday in the Pacific
2004 The inspiration for this quilt was the beautifully flower decorated hats the ladies from the Pacific Islands wear to church. Looking down on the congregation and viewing a sea of circles of hats with beautiful flowers, and the darkness of the furniture of the church made me think that this was a quilt waiting to be made.
